INDIVIDUALS

I’m glad you found your way here.

I believe that often, we have not been equipped or taught to deal with the difficult experiences, emotions, and situations that arise over the course of our lives. I see my role as one of walking alongside you, guiding you, teaching skills, providing resources and research, and helping you figure out what direction you need to take. I ultimately aim to help you find your own inner strength to handle life’s difficulties, and develop a personal power necessary to make choices that are best for you.

While my approach is tailored to each individual person, clients have described me as safe, accepting, easy-going, practical, and relatable. Across clients, I also draw heavily on research and neuroscience, and I consistently incorporate the latest findings into our sessions. I utilize an integrative approach, meaning I draw from my training and experience in multiple therapeutic modalities. Some of these modalities include: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Attachment Theory, and Polyvagal Theory. If you aren’t sure what any of this means, I’m happy to explain more in a consultation!
